With summer approaching, many of us will be traveling on vacation or visit loved ones. No matter what the reason for your trip, you need to be sure that you take all the essential beauty products along for the ride. Traveling with many of your favorite beauty products is easier said than done. You need to know which beauty products you can't live without during your trip to make sure that you have everything that you need to keep looking flawless even when you are away from home.
Here are a few tips from the experts for how to travel with beauty products:
Grab a Conditioner
Many people are looking to cut back on the liquid beauty products that they take along on their flight, but one essential that you really need to take along is a great conditioner for your hair. You might think that you can just use the hotel shampoo and conditioner, but what you need is a great conditioner that will leave your hair looking shiny and without major frizz. Shampoo and conditioner bars are also becoming quite readily available and take up much less space in a suitcase.
Prep Your Makeup
Instead of bringing along a ton of eye shadow pallets, you can use cotton swabs! You can save a lot of room in your bag by swabbing a bunch of your favorite eye shadows, and then just bringing along the cotton swabs. This is a lot simpler and more travel-friendly than bringing tons of eye shadows along for your girls’ weekend. The best part is that you still have lots of options to choose from, but get to save room when packing. There are also many all in one pallets out there these days that have eye shadow, highlighter and contour, blush and lipstick. Packing one of these can save a ton of room!
Cotton
You also need to be careful when packing your beauty products because some of the items are breakable. An easy fix is using cotton rounds to make sure that all mirrors are protected. If you have a favorite compact that you want to make sure doesn’t break when you are traveling, just place a cotton round over the mirror to make sure that it is protected during your flight. No matter how much your bags move around, you won’t have to worry about your mirror breaking. This is a great trick that really works.
Size Matters
When you’re planning to carry on toiletries on a flight, remember that their size does matter! All liquids, aerosols, gels, and creams must be placed in a quart-sized bag, and can’t exceed 3.4 ounces. Luckily, Foxbrim offers quite a few products that are under the limit, and can be carried on stress free. Any of our serums, most of our moisturizers, and some of our pure oils are under the 3.4 ounce limit, and ready to leave on a jet plane with you! And the rest can be packed securely in your checked luggage.
